Daily Desire Practice

Welcome to She Lives & Loves. A podcast for women who are ready to fall head over heels in love with themselves and life.

I’m Kerin Monaco, I’m a conscious Life Creatrix and Poet and in this pre-launch episode I’m going to share a practice that will help you connect with yourself and what you want in life.

Like I said this is a pilot episode and it’ll give you a taste of what you can expect when the podcast is officially launched at the Fall Equinox in September.

I’m not going to give too much background but this podcast was inspired from a series of conversations I had with women when I was starting to develop what I thought was my next offer within my former business model.

Those conversations went in a direction I didn’t anticipate but were very much the Universe giving my a green light to go in a direction I’ve been wanting to go for some time.

I sat down with these beautiful women to talk about life and starting over and when I got to the question “If I wave my magic wand and fix your problem, what does that look like?” What would you like the solution to be?”

About 90% courageously said “I don’t know.”

This brought me back to a time in life when I had no idea who I was, what I wanted, was doing, or where I was going. It was scary. It was frustrating. It was isolating.

And if you are resonating with this even a little, I am here to let you know you are not alone and I have got your back.

That’s the background I’m giving for now. I could go on and on BUT I would rather get you started on connecting within and expanding your vision.

The practice I’m about to share with you can be done in a journal (which is my preferred method for tracking purposes) BUT you can also do it while you’re walking, brushing your teeth, or sitting in the drive thru waiting on your morning coffee.

This is also a practice I would recommend you do daily which is why it’s short and simple. I’ll be giving you time between each part to sit and answer. If you need more time, hit pause, and come back when you feel complete. Listen to the practice starting at 3:27 when you clink here.

The Practice

Let’s start with some grounding inhales and exhales. If you can place a hand on your heart and answer me this:

How do you want to feel today?

This can be a consistent response or it may evolve over time. Right now, I’m working with wanting to feel ease, space, and love daily.

So what do you want to feel?

Second inquiry, Whats going really well in life right now? What do you love?

In a nutshell this is about gratitude for what is. Try to breathe into at least 5 things.

Third; what are you calling in?

Don’t censor this response based on what you think is possible. No matter how big, small, unlikely, simple acknowledge it. I’m going to break this down even more for you.

  • What is something you want to do or experience?

  • What is something you would like to have?

  • What would be really helpful to you right now?

  • What would you like to offer to others?

If you write it down, over time you’ll start to see how much you are manifesting. I occassionally like to go back through what I’ve written and highlight what’s taken form. It inspires you to keep going.

And then finally a love note to yourself.
