Four Books To Get Lost In
Hey Gorgeous,
I have loved reading the responses to the She Lives & Loves community questionnaire. If you want to play along, you can fill it out here.
One of the questions is “If you and I had coffee what would we talk about?” A community member said she wanted to know what books I’ve read lately. I responded to her personally but I know our community is FULL of bookworms... and seriously an amazing self-love date is to treat yourself to a day in bed reading a good book.
Here are just four of my favorites from the past 12 months.

The Inheritance of Orchidea Divina by Zoraida Cordova
I would give this book 5 hearts. I was gutted when it was over but also couldn’t stop myself from racing through it. A matriarch invites her family to her funeral. You’ll get swept up in magic, mystery and secrets with this beautiful story.

The Library of Legends by Janie Chang
At first I struggled to get into this one but I felt so compelled to keep going. This one is a beautiful story about a group of students who travels across China during the war with Japan. They are charged with protecting a library of myths. This is the perfect read for the upcoming autumn days.

Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
If you are a fan of the Chronicles of Narnia, this book has a similar flair. This is the story of a girl learning who she really is and opening up to the adventure of returning home. This one is ideal for sitting outside in the late afternoon sun. You’ll turn these pages well into the night as you follow the story of January Scaller.

We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers
Ok… So this is my personal development recommendation. I didn’t read it. I listened to it on Audible during my morning walks. Rodgers delivers her message with minimal frills. She will inspire you to step into your power and make million dollar decisions. It's a total must read for women. You can listen for free with an Audible trial.
Which one are you going to read next?
